Aufgrund bereits erlebter Trauerfeiern habe ich mir deswegen überlegt, wie ich mir die Trauerfeier zu meinem Tode wünsche. Der ein oder andere mag dies vielleicht für morbid halten, aber was ist dagegen einzuwenden, wenn man sich mit dem Unvermeidlichen beschäftigt? Ich habe schließlich auch eine Patientenverfügung und eine Nachlassregelung für den Fall der Fälle.
Wie wünsche ich mir also meine Trauerfeier? Als Mensch, der ohne Musik nicht existieren könnte, ist es mir wichtig, dass Musik gespielt wird, mit der ich mich auch während meines Lebens identifizieren konnte. Es wäre mir ein Grauen zu wissen, dass irgendwelche seichten, dahin plätschernde Standardtrauerfeiersongs auf meiner Beerdigung gespielt würden, deswegen habe ich mir die Playlist "SONGS FOR MY FUNERAL" angelegt und meine Angehörigen darüber informiert – ich gebe zu, begeistert waren sie nicht gerade.
Ich denke, dass ein paar Tränchen vergossen werden, was mich auch nicht stören würde, schließlich habe ich das Leben (fast immer) geliebt und wenn mich jemand vermissen wird, ist dies in gewissem Maße ja auch ein Kompliment. Aber prinzipiell wünsche ich mir, dass die Trauer über mein Ableben nicht die Lebensfreude erdrückt und meine Gäste vielleicht stattdessen ein paar lustige Geschichten über den alten Herren erzählen und das ein oder andere Gläschen auf mich trinken, ganz so wie es Lasse Matthiessen in seinem Song "Tonight we drinkt to die" besingt.
